THE NEON QUAVER QUARTET!


   Next club day four highly respected and well known jazz musicians will be gracing our presence with their amazing talent. 

   Neon Quaver, a contemporary Auckland band promise to cater to tastes.
Leader Richard Ghent says Neon Quaver is looking forward to “providing your jazz club with a memorable autumn afternoon’s music.” He adds “we will play a number of standards and other more contemporary jazz pieces, along with a number of Quaver compositions.” 

   They offer their Human Time Ocean Spirit CD to us for a special $25 price.

Richard is on flute, flugel horn as well as the vocals, David Lines the keyboard, Nigel Gavin a unique 7 string acoustic guitar while Richard Adams of Nairobi Trio fame plays violin.

   Bring your friends and family as you can't afford to miss this amazing display of musical talent.


.Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start on Sunday, June 6th. 

ADMISSION: Casual $30, NP Club members $20, any jazz club member $15, students $5

EVERY THURSDAY from 6.30 pm The Mike Gordon Jazz Collective plays at The Fitz (formerly The Fitzroy Tavern). Join them for an evening of top music, a pub meal and great company. 6.30pm to 8.30pm for the band, but stay as late as you wish.
