SECONDARY SCHOOLS SHOWCASE

Sunday, September 5th sees one of the highlights of the year with our fundraising show for Taranaki secondary schools' music departments. We have record entries this year with Francis Douglas Memorial College, Waitara High School. Spotswood College, Hawera High School. Sacred Heart College, 

 NPBHS and NPGHS all featuring their young jazz musicians.

The talent displayed by these young people is tribute to the calibre
of tutoring in Taranaki.

Doors open at The New Plymouth Club at 3.345pm for a 4.30pm start.
CASH DOOR SALES ONLY. Families $30, adults $15

 Immediately prior to Schools' Day.


   Bring your friends and family as you can't afford to miss this amazing display of young local, musical talent.

EVERY THURSDAY from 6.30 pm The Mike Gordon Jazz Collective plays at The Fitz (formerly The Fitzroy Tavern). Join them for an evening of top music, a pub meal and great company. 6.30pm to 8.30pm for the band, but stay as late as you wish.

November 7th: 'The Great Taranaki Steam Band' Taranaki's biggest big band directed by Christopher Luke - Taranaki

December 5th: 'The River City Jazzmen' Dixieland at it's absolute best - Christchurch
